About

Over ten years behind the camera — and beside it.

I started in film production — camera, sound, production coordination, unit management. I learned how a set breathes: when a scene is fragile, when the light is about to change, and when a photographer has to disappear.

Photography has been with me for over ten years. Today I bring both together as a unit still photographer: images that carry the story of a production, shot without ever getting in the way of it.

Based in Stuttgart, working throughout Germany, Europe and worldwide — for features, series, shorts and commercials.

Production first. Picture second. Both in the same frame.

Set experience

I know what happens behind the camera.

Before I photographed sets, I worked on them. That is why I read a shooting day the way the crew does — and why my camera never costs you a take.

Camera
Camera assistance and operating — I know the lens, the mark and the moment the AC needs space.
Sound
Boom and recording work — which is exactly why my shutter stays out of a take.
Production coordination
Call sheets, schedules, clearances. I understand what a day costs and where stills fit into it.
Unit management
on set: locations, logistics, cast and crew flow under time pressure.
Photography
Over ten years of photographic work — available light, fast lenses, no interruptions, silent shutter.
Delivery
Selected, retouched and captioned stills, prepared for press, festival and social use.
